Where Kids Thrive Beyond the School Day

Wisconsin Youth Company is a non-profit organization that provides 4K wrap, after school, before school, and summer camp programs in both Dane and Waukesha Counties.

The organization also operates two neighborhood centers — Elver Park Neighborhood Center and Theresa Terrace Neighborhood Center — providing services to residents of Madison’s southwest side, including a food pantry that was established during COVID-19. Wisconsin Youth Company is dedicated to providing high-quality programs that fulfil the mission to engage youth in opportunities that encourage them to be their best selves and to help them thrive beyond the school day.

Before and After School programs are choice-based, providing children with opportunities for
self-directed play, reading, and play with their peers. All programs are staffed with trained educators and afterschool professionals who provide mentorship and support. For many children, After School helps fill the gap between the work day and the school day from their first day of kindergarten until they graduate fifth grade and move on to middle school.

This year, Wisconsin Youth Company invites you and your family to the inaugural Thrive in Stride Fun Run/Walk Saturday, May 21, 2022. The event will be held at Orchid Heights Park (4198 Park Trail) within Pheasant Branch Conservancy in Middleton. Your participation supports essential Wisconsin Youth Company programs for children and working families in our community. From summer camps and school year programming to neighborhood centers and shared resources, we are committed to ensuring all children have safe spaces to grow, play, and thrive.
