Kate is the Relocation Services Manager for Restaino & Associates Realtors, joining the team in 2022. She is a licensed real estate agent and moved to Verona, Wisconsin in 2016 from Atlanta, Georgia. Kate handles all of the incoming and outgoing client referrals from the division’s corporate clients, third parties and independent agents. She profiles the relocating transferees, assigns them to the appropriate agent and follows the transferee’s progress from beginning to end. Relo Attends: GO Red for Women
On Friday, February 28, Heidi Kopras, Restaino Realtor, and volunteer for the local chapter of the American Heart Association, along with Miki Smith and Gail Johnson with Restaino Relocation, attended and supported the Go Red for Women Luncheon held at the Monona Terrace. The Go Red for Women event elevated awareness among women about heart disease and stroke. The speakers shared their survival stories, facts on heart disease and promoted healthy lifestyles. Gail Johnson Attends the GMA SHRM Strategic Planning Meeting
On Friday, Jan. 17th, Gail Johnson, a Board Member of the GMA SHRM Greater Madison Human Resource Association attended and participated in the strategic planning of the chapter for their 700 plus members. The meeting was guided by Jeff Russell, Russell Consulting and held at Serendipity Labs a co-working office space in Madison. This was a passionate group set out to identify and bring value to its membership through professional development opportunities, networking, relationship-building, and the phenomenal One Day Human Capital Conference hosted in May. The holiday traditions continue. Nadya and Miki enjoyed attending this year’s annual Wisconsin Employee Relocation Council luncheon in Milwaukee. In addition to listening to industry experts speak on topics pertaining to Relocation, Nadya and Miki enjoyed networking with some of the best relocation professionals in Wisconsin. As a very special surprise to everyone, Nadya, and the rest of the WiERC board members preformed a delightful relocation oriented rendition of, “The Twelve Days of Christmas”! Michael and Suzanne Restaino, Heidi Kopras and Miki Smith attended the Downtown Madison, Inc. (DMI) Annual Dinner on October 28, 2019, at the Monona Terrace. Over 600 DMI members, friends and downtown stakeholders celebrated another year with DMI over dinner, networking, a national speaker, and the presentation of the 23rd annual Community Asset Awards! The Keynote Speaker was Bryan C. Lee Jr., an architect, educator, writer, and Design Justice Advocate. He is the founder/Design Director at Colloqate Design, a nonprofit multidisciplinary design practice in New Orleans, Louisiana, dedicated to expanding community access to design and creating spaces of racial, social, and cultural equity. Restaino Relocation Attends WI SHRM 33rd Annual State Conference
The event hosted over 1,500 HR professionals and professionals in the industry. During the conference, Gail Johnson, Susan Thompson with Action Coach, and Nadya Nahirniak-Hansen spoke on the subjects of Mobility and Recruiting Talent. Attendees were presented with learning how to approach recruiting to attract, hire and retain top talent. The talk included best practices to enhance recruiting which included relocation assistance when interviewing candidates and families from outside the area.
